In 2016, award-winning films, presentations and morning sessions are scheduled between multiple venues in Waimea, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Fairmont Orchid from January 1-4, 2016. 31st Annual Kailua-Kona Community Christmas Parade   Leave a comment

23507987445_fcf35922bb_z“The parade will begin at 5pm at the Kekuaokalani Gym next to Kona Pool, go south on Kuakini, down Palani Rd., and along Ali`i Drive to Walua Rd., just past Coconut Grove Marketplace. The theme of this year’s parade is Na Mele `O Kalikimaka – Songs of Christmas. There will be numerous musical entries, and more than half of the entries will beautifully light up the evening, including HELCO’s Toy’s For Tots Train, and of course, Santa and his reindeer.” The parade will support Hawai`i Island’s Food Basket, and donations are being accepted at west side food markets on the day of the parade.
