Spring Fling! A fundraising gala for Kuleana Education Academy ~ May 19th💐   Leave a comment

This year’s Spring Fling will be held Saturday May 19th at Hale Halawai from 5 to 9 pm.

Our festive gala will feature a variety of exciting entertainment events including a live band, gaming tables, gourmet pupu and dessert buffets, as well as beer, wine, and a signature cocktail for the event.

A highlight of the evening will be our Silent Auction featuring gift certificates to local restaurants, adventure activities, jewelry, art, and more!

Childcare will be available off site at Ohana Martial Arts from 5 to 9 pm. Kid’s entertainment will include a movie, dinner, and martial arts activities. Fee is $25.00 and parents must signs a waiver for Ohana Martial Arts. Ohana Martial Arts is located at 75-5759 Kuakini Hwy Suite 100, Kailua-Kona (Across from the school’s old location).

Thats Entertainment! A benefit for VASH Hawaii Island~April 14th   Leave a comment

Straight from New York City, acclaimed duo, KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler, perform their brilliantly funny and entertaining show, That’s Entertainment!, to benefit VASH Hawaii Island.

KT Sullivan was named artistic director of The Mabel Mercer Foundation in 2012. She starred in the Broadway revival of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and headlined for almost two decades in The Oak Room of The Algonquin Hotel. One of the shows she created there, ” Rhyme, Women, and Song ” was presented on PBS’ WNET 13 and her award winning Sondheim show with Jeff Harnar was filmed for PBS from the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Mark Nadler is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist, tap-dancer and comedian. He is the recipient of the 2015 Broadway World Editor’s Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year.

Laugh, cry and have the time of your life with KT and Mark at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Kona Tap Room. Ticket price includes delicious, mouth-watering heavy pupus, free standard parking, and a cash bar.
